This Thursday Testify tears it up at The Dalston Victoria.

I'm on pretty early (19.00 til 21.30) but Dirty Water's PJ and The B Movie Ball's Johnny Nashwan will be keeping the joint jivin' and jumpin'.

Rompin' Stompin' Rock 'n' Roll comes to the Great Exhibition Pub

Testify urges you to get yourself up Crystal Palace Road to the Great Exhibition Pub between 8pm and Midnight.


Once there you can expect the best in rockabilly, rock 'n' roll, juke joint blues and jumpin' R&B.

The (NOT) Very Last Shredded Beats. Most Probably.

On the 22/06/12 I will be heading to Welwyn Garden City's ace Shredded Beats night to play some records.

I've played there several times and always been impressed by the atmosphere generated by Nicholas Anson and his posse of talented  DJ's.

Sadly rumour has it that this will be the last Shredded Beats ever. So catch it while you can!

GOOD NEWS SEEMS NEW OWNERS OF THE DOCTORS TONIC HAVE TAKEN THE SB CREW TO THEIR HEART AND THE SHREDDED BEAT GOES ON....

Members Florence Joelle: Vocals, rhythm guitar, harmonica Chris Campion: Bass Arthur Lager: Drums Huck Whitney: Lead guitar Whilst their inspiration draws from the past, they have carved out a sound that lives in the present, bringing their own slant to the likesof Chick Webb’s ‘40s reefer blues ‘When I Get Low I Get High’,and the ‘50s R&B staple ‘Unchain My Heart'. Testify at Diddy Wah

At The Haggerston on Kingsland Road in Dalston (E8 4AA), 9pm to 3am, free entry.
